Hey there! πŸ‘‹

Found a security issue with PureClarity? We'd love to hear from you. While we don't run a paid bug bounty program, we genuinely appreciate researchers who help keep our platform secure.

The Legal Bit (Important!)

If you follow this policy, we promise:

  • We won't take legal action against you

  • We consider your research authorized under applicable laws (CFAA, DMCA, etc.)

  • We'll work with you, not against you

What You Can Test

βœ… Yes, please test:

  • Anything on *.pureclarity.com

  • Our APIs and mobile apps

  • Our JavaScript libraries (on your own test account)

❌ Please don't:

  • Attack our physical offices or people

  • Touch other customers' data

  • Try to take down our services

  • Test on customer websites using PureClarity

How to Test Responsibly

  1. Create a free test account (mark it as a test account)

  2. Only test on your own data

  3. Stop immediately if you find other users' data

  4. Don't use automated tools that hammer our servers

Found Something? Let Us Know!

Email us at: support@pureclarity.com
Subject line: "Security Issue: [Brief Description]"

Tell us:

  • What you found

  • How to reproduce it

  • Why it matters

  • Your name (if you want credit)

What Happens Next

  • We'll reply within 5 business days

  • We'll keep you updated as we fix it

  • We ask for 90 days before you go public (but we're flexible)

How We Say Thanks

We're a small team building something we love, so we can't offer cash rewards like the big companies. But we genuinely value your help and offer:

  • A shoutout on social media from one of our founders

  • A LinkedIn recommendation if you want one from one of our founders

Every report helps us build a better, more secure product for everyone!
